A day in the life
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I spent a few years in the Bay Area before discovering Riivos. One of the things that initially drew me in was how genuinely excited people were to tackle big ideas. At Riivos I’ve gotten to work on an array of projects as our clients’ challenges continually evolve. As someone who loves learning new things, a sentiment shared by the team here, I’ve enjoyed getting exposure to new technology and ideas. Coming from the Midwest, one of my favorite things about living in the Bay is the variety of places just a short car ride away. I’ve been able to take impromptu weekend trips skiing in Tahoe, wine tasting in Sonoma and get my scuba certification in Monterey.

A day in the life
I was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, where I also attended University of British Columbia, studying Mining Engineering. Most traditional mining jobs are not located in big cities like San Francisco, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to move to SF. Through my studies and work experience in the mining industry, I learned that financials are absolutely critical to a company's decision making. Knowing this, I gravitated towards finance and jumped at the opportunity to work for Riivos, a company that's paving the way in financial forecasting and value chain management. The work/life balance at Riivos beats any other I have experienced! Exploring national parks, running along the Embarcadero, and trying some of the best food San Francisco has to offer are just some of the ways I spend my free time here.
